Hemp and Lentil Bites

Hemp & lentil bites on a plate with Hemp Oil Sweet Chilli Dressing

INGREDIENTS:

250g dried brown lentils

500ml vegetable stock

1 brown onion – diced

1 clove of garlic – crushed

2 tbsp Good Country Hemp hemp flour

1 red capsicum – diced

1 tsp parsley

1 tsp cumin powder

½ tsp coriander

2 tbsp tamari sauce

½ cup Good Country Hemp sweet chilli dressing

METHOD:

Saute onion and garlic

Add brown lentils and vegetable stock and boil together until the liquid has absorbed and the lentils are tender

Mash the lentil mixture

Transfer to a bowl and cool for 10 minutes

Add diced hemp flour, capsicum, parsley, cumin, coriander, and tamari sauce

Mix together until ingredients are evenly distributed

With wet hands, shape the mixture into bite size patties.

Heat frying pan to a low/medium heat, add olive oil, cook the burgers until golden brown each side.

Serve with a garden salad and dipping bowl of Good Country Hemp Sweet Chilli Dressing.
