Good Country Hemp was founded by husband and wife team Mick and Linda Andersen. When they decided to grow hemp on their farm near Mundulla, there was no one in South Australia to process their crop. They decided to build their own hemp seed processing plant and Good Country Hemp was born.

A Good Story

The Limestone Coast region (in South-Eastern South Australia) has excellent conditions for growing hemp – a warm Mediterranean climate, good fertile soils and excellent quality underground water for irrigation.

Today, Good Country Hemp partner with local farmers to grow specific varieties for premium quality hemp foods. After harvest the seed is carefully dried, cleaned and processed into cold pressed hemp seed oil, hulled hemp seed and protein powder.

We currently have the largest hemp seed processing capability in South Australia and have a controlled supply chain from the farm to finished product.
